Job summary

SouthState Bank Corporation offers a 10-week Marketing and Communications Banking Internship Program for undergraduates. Interns collaborate with the MarCom team to gain hands-on experience in content development, communications, and brand voice within banking operations.

You will participate in onboarding, mentorship, and leadership development while supporting internal communications, letters, and newsletters.

Qualifications

• 3.4 GPA preferred.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business management, information systems, or related field.
• Strong writing, content development, time-management, analytical, and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop content for internal and external communications across channels (letters, emails, bulletins).
• Assist in creating and updating communications for deposit growth and fraud awareness.
• Support weekly LOB meetings with project updates and newsletter preparation.
• Assist in posting intranet spotlights and internal stories.
• Support Corporate Communications monthly reporting and cross‑team coordination.
