Job summary

UMB Bank is seeking a Consumer Services Specialist to join our call center team. You will deliver an unparalleled customer experience by handling inbound service center calls, answering bank-related questions, and building relationships with customers.

The role requires handling multiple systems, meeting performance metrics, and participating in ongoing training. Eligible candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong English language skills, and 1–2 years of customer service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in English.
• 1–2 years customer service or related experience.
• Knowledge of basic banking products (checking, debit, credit).
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and access client information.
• Understanding of privacy regulations and customer authentication requirements.
• Able to learn and pass training assessments.
• Strong phone/interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound service center calls and provide banking information.
• Assist customers, resolve issues, and cross-sell suitable products.
• Maintain ongoing knowledge through classroom and online training; review department communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
