Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Backend Systems Engineer to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed backend services that power critical workloads. You will shape core platforms with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance, balancing consistency, availability, and latency for multi-team use.

The role requires 6+ years in backend engineering, strong Java/Go/Scala skills, and hands-on experience with Kafka and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsabilités

• Design and implement large-scale distributed backend systems using Java, Go, Scala, or similar high-performance languages.
• Architect data partitioning, replication, and consistency strategies appropriate to each workload’s requirements.
• Build resilient APIs and event-driven services with strong observability, idempotency, and graceful degradation patterns.
• Optimize systems for latency, throughput, and cost, using profiling, benchmarking, and load testing.
• Lead detailed architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and trade‑off analyses.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and lead by example in code quality, design, and operational rigor.
