Job summary
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Backend Software Engineer focused on high-throughput platform development to design, build, and operate foundational platforms and shared services used by multiple engineering teams. This role emphasizes building backend capabilities for routing, traffic management, and durable event processing with low latency.
The ideal candidate has deep distributed-systems expertise, strong platform-engineering instincts, and a track record of leading multi-quarter
Qualifications
- Six+ years of backend/platform engineering experience.
- Proven track record building/operating internal platforms used by multiple teams.
- Hands-on design of distributed systems with consistency, availability, latency and failure modes.
- Proficiency in Java/Go/Scala/Rust/modern C++.
- Experience with high-throughput messaging: Kafka, Pulsar, NATS.
- Knowledge of relational, key-value, document, and search stores.
- Leading multi-quarter platform initiatives with stakeholder management.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Mentor engineers and shape engineering culture.
