Resend is building the modern email sending platform for developers. We’re growing our core team and hiring engineers who ship features end-to-end, build reliable distributed systems, and own the services behind them.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including backend services in production.
• Queues, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems with retries and partial failures.
• Design systems from scratch and roll-out strategies.
• Cloud infrastructure and service operations, observability, capacity, debugging production issues.
• APIs and relational data models; safe database changes.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CDK.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from concept to deployment and monitoring.
• Build reliable distributed systems including queues and background workers.
• Scale APIs and databases as usage grows.
• Operate what you build with meaningful monitoring and on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with support to turn customer problems into product improvements.
• Improve engineering quality with tests, tooling, and robust systems.
