The position emphasizes RESTful services, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and robust data handling, with 40 hours/week and standard 8:30-5:30 schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Software Engineering, plus three years of related work experience.
• Alternative: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent with one year of related experience.
• Experience with backend development, scalable RESTful microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in OO languages (Java/Kotlin/Go/Scala/Python) and databases (Oracle/Postgres/Elasticsearch/DynamoDB).
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS patterns.
• Emphasis on software quality, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features daily within a scalable, cross-geo environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, PMs, and designers.
• Participate in code reviews emphasizing readability.
• Test practices, documentation, reliability, security, and performance.
• Mentor teammates through knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Ensure visibility, error reporting, and monitoring of backend services.
• Engage in Agile processes including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
