Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a backend-focused engineer to help scale our Cloud/Grafana-as-a-service platform. You’ll work on multi-tenant SaaS architecture, ensure reliability, and ship features that integrate dashboards, incidents, and telemetry for a large OSS and cloud user base.

You should have strong Golang coding skills, experience with distributed systems at scale, and comfort with on-call rotations. This is a fully remote role with international applicants and competitive RSU-based equity.

Qualifications

• Strong coding skills and operational experience with software you own.
• Experience building SaaS platforms at scale and multi-tenant systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Golang or eagerness to learn the language.

Responsibilities

• Develop new backend features in Golang and improve reliability.
• Review design documents and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Help shape product roadmap and drive delivery.
• Mentor teammates and collaborate across squads.
• Participate in on-call rotations to own customer experiences.
