Job summary

Lumos is building the autonomous identity platform that powers access across leading apps and data. As a backend/platform engineer, you will design and implement core components of the identity sync pipeline, extend our observability framework, and collaborate across teams to prevent sync failures before they reach customers.

You will drive architecture reviews, mentor peers, and push for resilience, correctness, and scalability in high-volume pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience building production data pipelines used by multiple teams.
• Strong focus on correctness, idempotency, retries, and operational visibility.
• Familiarity with identity or access governance data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core components of the identity sync pipeline (ingestion, transform, validation, install).
• Build and extend the sync observability framework for monitoring, alerting, failure detection, and tooling.
• Collaborate with teams to close monitoring gaps and prevent customer-impacting failures.
• Contribute to a resilient, self-healing data platform with safe reconciliation at scale.
• Drive technical decisions through architecture reviews and mentoring.
• Champion reliability and observability across the identity sync stack.
