Job summary

Lumos is seeking a Software Engineer for the Identity Platform who will drive the evolution of our identity data backbone. You’ll design and build core components of the identity sync pipeline and extend our observability framework to monitor high-volume data flows.

You’ll collaborate across teams, mentor others, and lead by example — delivering resilient, scalable platform software that keeps identities, access, and data trustworthy at scale.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a backend or platform engineer building production data pipelines.
• Experience with Dagster or Airflow for orchestration and data workflows.
• Focus on correctness, idempotency, retries, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core components of the identity sync pipeline.
• Extend the sync observability framework for monitoring and tooling.
• Collaborate across teams to close reliability gaps and catch failures early.
• Contribute to safety nets and self-healing reconciliation for scale.
• Lead technical decisions, mentor peers, and participate in architecture reviews.
• Champion resilience, observability, and scalability in the identity stack.
