Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering experience.
• Experience with high-volume delivery systems.
• Understanding of queues, workers, retries, and rate limits.
• Knowledge of SMTP, MTAs, DNS, and mailbox behavior.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate Resend’s email transport infrastructure.
• Design systems for delivery controls and throttling.
• Debug delivery issues across various metrics.
• Participate in incident response and be on-call.
