Job summary

The company is hiring an Intermediate Backend Engineer (Python) to build and maintain the foundation for agentic AI experiences across the software delivery lifecycle. You will contribute to the Duo Agent Platform, AI Gateway, and integrations with the company monolith.

You'll work primarily on Python backend development, APIs, and scalable services, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote, async environment to raise the bar for responsible AI integration.

Qualifications

• Production Python backend experience.
• Experience with LLM app frameworks like LangGraph.
• Experience designing/shipping AI-powered backend features.

Responsibilities

• Develop, ship and maintain features for the Duo Agent Platform and AI Gateway.
• Build and improve agentic flows and reusable parts (LangChain/LangGraph).
• Collaborate with Product, UX, frontend, backend and AI teams to refine requirements.
