Job summary

Agentic AI Products is seeking a Backend Engineer (Python) to build and maintain backend services and APIs that power AI-powered applications. The role focuses on creating infrastructure for AI agents, tool integrations, and automated workflows, with emphasis on scalability and reliability.

You will design and implement asynchronous processing, integrate LLM services, and collaborate with AI, product, and frontend teams to ship features into production from design through deployment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial backend development experience using Python.
• Experience designing APIs, working with databases and deploying production services.
• Hands-on experience supporting agentic AI products or building backend systems for AI applications.
• Familiarity with LLM integrations, tool calling and workflow orchestration.
• Understanding of asynchronous processing, testing and monitoring.
• Comfortable owning features from design through deployment in a fast-moving startup.
