Job summary

Temu is seeking a full-time Software Engineer (Ads) to join a remote team in the United States. The role focuses on building backend services and API integrations to power automated ad creation and optimization.

You will design scalable architectures, work with ML and computer vision in production, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance advertising systems at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience, preferably building large-scale backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, C++, Go, or Python).
• Solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and code-quality focus.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API integrations with ad platforms for automated campaign management and asset sync.
• Develop scalable backend services for keyword management, categorization, and large-scale ad creation.
• Design and maintain infrastructure for dynamic landing page rendering and real-time personalization.
• Design data architectures to process large traffic data for A/B testing and performance tracking.
• Optimize system performance to support real-time bid changes and high-concurrency requests.
• Collaborate with the algorithm team to deploy ML, LLMs, and computer vision models in production.
