Job summary

Temu seeks a highly motivated Software Engineer, SEM Infrastructure to join our team in the United States. You will build and maintain backend services, API integrations with Google Ads and Bing Ads, and design infrastructure for real-time personalization at scale.

You will work on data architectures for large-scale traffic, support A/B testing, and optimize performance for high-concurrency bid changes. Collaboration with the algorithm team to deploy ML and CV models is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in a backend language (Java, C++, Go, or Python).
• Solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and code quality.
• Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API integrations with major advertising platforms for automated campaign management.
• Develop scalable backend services for keyword management and ad creation.
• Design infrastructure for dynamic landing pages and real-time personalization at scale.
• Design data architectures for high-volume traffic and A/B testing for creative variations.
• Optimize system performance for real-time bid changes and high concurrency.
• Collaborate with the ML/vision teams to deploy models in production.
