Job summary

Nexcess is seeking a Social Media Manager to shape how we show up on LinkedIn and in Reddit communities where cloud conversations happen. You’ll own social end-to-end from content concepts to community response, partnering with Creative, Product Marketing and Demand Gen.

This role targets someone who lives and breathes B2B social, with ideas to land our cloud solutions story and empower internal experts to publish.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in B2B social media with LinkedIn as a primary channel.
• Experience running a Reddit program in a business context.
• Portfolio of original B2B social posts from concept to publish.
• Strong briefing skills for short-form video and graphics.
• Proven ability to grow a company page audience by engaging target buyers.
• Experience briefing and coordinating with an agency partner.
• Ability to translate technical subject matter for customers.
• Understanding LinkedIn distribution mechanics versus folklore.

Responsibilities

• Own Nexcess and Servers.com LinkedIn pages from calendar to copy.
• Create social-native content, including short-form video, with Creative.
• Invent and test new formats; scale successful ones.
• Enable internal experts to publish with voice and prompts.
• Manage the Reddit agency day-to-day; review drafts and replies.
• Partner with Demand Gen to boost posts and engagement.
• Use listening and performance data to drive what to publish next.
• Maintain brand voice across pages and ghostwritten posts.
