Job summary

Beacon Software seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager to fuel new revenue in the humanitarian software space. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, build qualification rigor, and engage with executives and operations leaders to demonstrate HELM’s impact.

This role offers hybrid work in the Atlanta/Charleston/Charlotte corridor with remote options nationwide, a founder-level seat to shape the GTM playbook, and the chance to scale partnerships across nonprofits

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in B2B software sales.
• 3+ years owning deals end to end and carrying a quota.
• Experience selling into multi-stakeholder organizations (finance, operations, leadership).
• Proven ability to build pipeline through outbound prospecting, not just inbound.
• Excellent communication and executive presence with diverse stakeholders.
• Organized and methodical with clean CRM data.
• Self-directed and comfortable building the playbook from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline generation against ICP targets and outbound motion.
• Qualification: assess fit and budget/authority/timing.
• Lead discovery conversations and coordinate demos with sales engineers.
• Move deals through proposal, procurement, and close phases.
• Handoff to delivery as relationship owner post-closure.
