Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in commercial collections required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and a proven record of accomplishments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and integrity.
• Good organizational skills.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Work well in a team/competitive environment.
• Negotiation skills.
• AS/400 and FACS experience is a plus.
• FDCPA knowledge is helpful.
• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening.
• Available to work between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
• Stable work history.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with consumers by telephone and written correspondence to resolve unpaid accounts.
• Update account records accurately on computer files for each call.
• Skip tracing to locate contact information.
• Counsel delinquent consumers to help meet payment obligations.
• Stay compliant with all applicable laws and company policies.
• Provide feedback to management on potential problems or improvements.
• Suggest process improvements and implement changes as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
