Zusammenfassung

Cognizant is seeking an Azure DevOps Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will enable reliable software delivery and automate operational processes across transportation and logistics applications.

You will manage Azure infrastructure, create CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments with PowerShell and IaC, monitor performance, and lead incident response.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Hands-on with Azure services including VMs, networking, storage, security, and monitoring.
• Experience automating infrastructure and operational processes using PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of Azure security, governance, and cloud best practices.
• Experience supporting Windows Server and IIS environments in enterprise settings.
• Proven SQL Server administration experience, including performance tuning.
• Experience supporting SSIS and enterprise data integration processes.
• Knowledge of IBM MQ administration and messaging infrastructure support.
• Experience with SonarQube or similar code quality and security scanning platforms.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, automation, monitoring, and IaC principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support enterprise application delivery.
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, security, monitoring, and governance services.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and operational activities using PowerShell and IaC methodologies.
• Monitor application performance, deployment health, and platform reliability through observability tools.
• Administer Windows Server environments and IIS web applications.
• Manage SQL Server environments, including performance optimization and backups.
• Support SSIS data integration workflows and scheduled jobs.
• Administer IBM MQ environments, including queue management and troubleshooting.
• Integrate security controls, compliance validations, and quality checks throughout the SDLC.
• Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure templates and operational runbooks.
• Lead troubleshooting and incident response activities related to deployments and infrastructure.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and procedures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.
