GlobalLogic in the United States—Charlotte, NC is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to join our cloud-focused team. You will assist in deploying and managing Azure-based infrastructure and apply Terraform for infrastructure as code.

You will monitor core Azure services, support virtual machines, and collaborate on networking configurations, security, and automation with senior engineers. This role offers remote or on-site work from Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in technical support with cloud infrastructure focus.
• Foundational understanding of Azure Virtual Machines deployment, configuration and management.
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code principles.
• Basic networking concepts in cloud environments (VNets, subnets, security groups).

Responsibilities

• Assist in deployment and management of cloud infrastructure components in Azure.
• Support virtual machines' maintenance and performance optimization.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking solutions under senior guidance.
• Collaborate to apply Terraform for IaC practices.
• Monitor Azure core services and identify potential issues or improvements.
• Learn best practices for security and compliance of cloud resources.
• Contribute to automation of routine operational tasks.
• Document operational procedures and system configurations accurately.
• Support incident response by gathering information and aiding resolution.
• Participate in team discussions to understand project requirements and solutions.
