GlobalLogic in the United States—Charlotte, NC is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to join our cloud-focused team. You will assist in deploying and managing Azure-based infrastructure and apply Terraform for infrastructure as code.

You will monitor core Azure services, support virtual machines, and collaborate on networking configurations, security, and automation with senior engineers. This role offers remote or on-site work from Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in technical support with cloud infrastructure focus.
• Foundational understanding of Azure Virtual Machines deployment, configuration and management.
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code principles.
• Basic networking concepts in cloud environments (VNets, subnets, security groups).

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely or from Charlotte, NC within the USA to be $130K to $140K and reflects base salary only and does not include additional performance-linked variable compensation, benefits etc. that may be applicable for the role. Requirements

• Possessing 8+ years of foundational professional experience in a technical support, demonstrating a keen interest in cloud infrastructure and operational practices within an enterprise environment.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated foundational understanding of Azure Virtual Machines, including their deployment, configuration, and basic management within a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code principles, showing a willingness to learn and apply declarative configuration management.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and their application in cloud environments, including virtual networks, subnets, and security groups.
• Academic exposure to Azure Core services, indicating a foundational grasp of essential cloud components and their interdependencies.

Preferred Skills:

• Terraform
• Azure Networking(Virtual Hub and Spoke) both using an Azure Firewall and a Virtual Network Appliance
