Job summary

Quisitive is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platform solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work hands-on with Azure Databricks, Synapse, and Fabric to deliver robust data processing and maintain a secure cloud environment for analytics.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on Azure data engineering experience, strong programming in Python/Scala, and a solid understanding of data security and RBAC.

Qualifications

• :3+ years hands-on data engineering with Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in Azure data services such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and SQL/NoSQL tech
• Experience using Azure DevOps (Repos & Pipelines) for CI/CD
• IaC experience with Bicep, ARM templates or Terraform for deploying resources
• Strong Python/Scala (Spark) and SQL skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure fundamentals (networking, security, monitoring)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication when working with technical teams and clients

Responsibilities

• Design & Develop end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure tools
• Develop and optimize Spark jobs (PySpark/Scala) on Azure Databricks for large datasets
• Manage Databricks workspaces and clusters, tune configs, troubleshoot jobs
• Use IaC (Bicep) to provision Azure resources across environments
• Implement and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
• Support day-to-day operations of the Azure Modern Data Platform, monitor storage and compute
• Collaborate with data architects, BI developers, cloud engineers, and clients to meet requirements
