Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an experienced Cloud Application Developer to modernize enterprise applications and migrate Power Platform solutions to Azure-native systems. This hands-on role focuses on architecture, migration approaches, and building scalable cloud apps using Azure, React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise application development and cloud modernization.
• Strong Azure cloud-native architecture experience and migration from Power Apps/Power Platform.
• Strong development with React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB and Azure SQL for data architecture and performance.
• Experience with GitHub/GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing Power Apps and Power Platform apps, document architecture and deployment approaches.
• Design and develop cloud-native enterprise apps using React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, and Azure services.
• Design cloud data solutions with Cosmos DB and Azure SQL, including data models and scaling strategies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps for automated deployment and observability.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, troubleshooting, and mentoring across teams.
