Covering the Arizona territory and operating from a home office, this role is ideal for a Sales Engineer or Field Applications Engineer who thrives at translating customer requirements into viable solutions and coordinating cross-functional engineering resources.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical role in aerospace/defense.
• Willingness to travel within the Arizona territory and to AMETEK A&D sites.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent the A&D organization as the technical interface to OEMs.
• Support design-in activities and translate customer specs into viable solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering resources across eight business units.
• Provide on-site customer support and enable long-term platform adoption.
• Travel as required to customer sites and training events.
