Job summary

TTEC Digital is seeking an AWS Team Lead, Development to guide AWS-focused projects remotely from the United States. You will drive vision, execution, and best practices across teams, mentor developers, and collaborate with product owners and PMs to plan sprints.

The role emphasizes AWS mastery, Node.js/Typescript development, and strong Agile practices, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, RDS, Redshift, VPC/Network configurations.
• 10+ years of development experience with a recent focus on Node.js/Typescript, working with AWS services.
• Thorough knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum.
• Ability to mentor more junior team members and to correct constructively, fostering growth in the team’s skills while strengthening relationships amongst team members.
• The ideal candidate seeks to understand before prescribing a solution.
• Love of technology and the latest services from AWS.

Responsibilities

• Morning meetings with internal team and clients.
• Requirements analysis and design conversations when a new project starts.
• Working on issues in Jira with your team - building systems, creating CloudFormation/Serverless templates to deploy resources.
• Helping junior team members with struggles in code and in teamwork.
• Studying new AWS Services, tools, or even new languages to address project needs.
• Be ready to learn quickly!
