Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a Technical Lead to oversee the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of a cloud-based market submission platform in Florida. You will guide a 3-5 person team, drive technical decisions, and partner with stakeholders to deliver business-critical initiatives.
The role emphasizes leadership, solution design, and project ownership while remaining technically engaged. Expect hands-on involvement as needed, with focus on AWS deployments, code reviews, and engineering
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience leading software development projects from requirements through deployment.
- Experience managing, mentoring, and coaching teams of 3-5 developers.
- Strong ability to partner with business stakeholders, manage commitments, and drive execution.
- Hands-on experience with .NET / C# application development.
- Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications within AWS.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, system integrations, and SDLC best practices.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Production support, troubleshooting, and incident management experience.
- Experience conducting code reviews and establishing development standards.
- Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, and CSS experience.
- PostgreSQL database design and optimization experience.
- AWS services including Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- CI/CD pipeline automation using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Infrastructure as Code experience using AWS CDK.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications.
- AI/ML platform exposure or experience supporting AI-enabled products.
- Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, Devin, etc.
Responsibilities

- Conduct code reviews and establish engineering standards across the team.
- Coordinate releases, testing efforts, and deployment activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across development processes and tooling.

Pay Rate starts at $50/hr
