Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and support cloud-native solutions across Payments, Money Movement, and Information Reporting platforms. You will work with AWS services and modern frameworks to translate business needs into scalable systems.

You will participate in design reviews, coding, testing, and production support, collaborating with architects and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on AWS cloud engineering and architecture experience.
• Experience designing and supporting cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Hands-on development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and/or Node.js.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience designing and implementing event-driven, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and OpenShift.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.

Responsibilities
