Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead AWS migration projects in a remote capacity within the United States. The ideal candidate will manage cloud migrations using AWS and be proficient with Jira for planning and reporting.

The position requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 per year, plus an incentive program based on performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with AWS migration focus.
• Proficiency in Jira for project management.
• Strong understanding of cloud migration methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Certifications such as PMI-PMP or AWS Cloud Practitioner are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage AWS migration projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop and manage project plans using Jira with milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
• Ensure team has required information and resources to perform tasks.
• Monitor progress and prepare status reports; escalate issues as needed.
• Implement changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Provide training and technical support to Jira end users.
• Create and manage complex reports and dashboards for management.
