Job summary

Tripoint Solutions LLC is seeking a senior Cloud Engineer to build, operate, and automate AWS GovCloud infrastructure for a federal education program. You will work with the cloud, Salesforce, and data teams to keep environments secure, available, and compliant. Remote position with US-wide scope.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud engineering,Hands-on AWS GovCloud experience, and Python automation. Certification in AWS or MuleSoft/Salesforce is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering or operations experience.
• Hands-on AWS GovCloud experience with compute, storage, networking, and identity.
• Experience integrating AWS with Salesforce and MuleSoft.
• Hands-on AWS Glue experience and IAM/KMS with least-privilege access.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and hardening practices.
• AWS/Salesforce/MuleSoft certifications preferred.
• Prior federal contract experience.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and operate AWS GovCloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, VPCs.
• Build and support integrations between AWS and Salesforce, including MuleSoft interfaces.
• Create AWS Glue pipelines to move data securely between sources.
• Implement S3 lifecycle, tiering, and retention policies.
• Secure data services with encryption, least-privilege access, and network isolation.
• Manage IAM policies, KMS key management, and secrets management.
• Integrate automated security scanning and CI/CD pipeline monitoring.
• Support STIG, RMF, ATO activities and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain deployment runbooks and change control artifacts.
• Automate operational work using Python.
