Job summary

Tripoint Solutions LLC is seeking a Cloud Engineer to build, operate, and automate AWS GovCloud infrastructure for a federal education program. You will collaborate with cloud, Salesforce, integration, and data teams to ensure secure, available, and compliant environments while replacing manual tasks with automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/Engineering/IT.
• 5+ years in cloud engineering or operations.
• Hands-on AWS GovCloud experience.
• Experience with VPCs, routing, subnetting, and Direct Connect.
• Experience integrating AWS with Salesforce and MuleSoft.
• IaC with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• IAM/KMS and least-privilege security.
• Linux system administration and Python automation.
• CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with version-controlled infrastructure workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and operate AWS GovCloud infrastructure.
• Write and maintain infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Build integrations between AWS and Salesforce/MuleSoft.
• Develop AWS Glue pipelines for secure data movement.
• Implement S3 lifecycle, encryption, and access control.
• Maintain IAM, KMS, and networking security controls.
• Embed security scanning and monitoring in CI/CD pipelines.
• Support STIG, RMF/ATO, and vulnerability remediation.
• Document deployment runbooks and change control artifacts.
• Improve cost visibility with tagging and rightsizing.
