Job summary

Tripoint Solutions LLC seeks a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate AWS GovCloud infrastructure for a federal education program. You will collaborate with Salesforce and data teams to ensure secure, available, and compliant environments.

The role requires hands-on AWS, Python scripting, and CI/CD maturity, plus experience with AWS Glue and security best practices. Remote work option with state-based eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Approximately 5+ years of cloud engineering/operations experience.
• Hands-on AWS GovCloud experience.
• Broad AWS experience across compute, storage, networking and identity (VPC/subnets/Route 53/load balancers/VPN).
• Experience integrating AWS with Salesforce and MuleSoft.
• Hands-on AWS Glue experience.
• IAM/KMS design for least-privilege access.
• Linux system administration.
• Python automation/scripting.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Cloud security and hardening practices.
• AWS Solutions Architect (Assoc/Prof) or AWS SysOps cert.
• Salesforce or MuleSoft certification.
• Follows Risk Management Framework, ATO support, STIG, ACAS/Nessus.
• Monitoring with CloudWatch or Splunk.
• Prior federal contract experience.
• Video participation required in interviews and standups.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and operate AWS GovCloud infra (EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, VPCs).
• Build and maintain integrations between AWS and Salesforce/MuleSoft.
• Develop AWS Glue pipelines for secure data movement.
• Implement S3 lifecycle, tiering, retention policies.
• Secure data services with least-privilege access, encryption, network isolation.
• Manage IAM, KMS, and secrets access controls.
• Integrate automated security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support STIG, RMF and ATO activities and remediation timelines.
• Maintain deployment runbooks and change control artifacts.
• Automate operational tasks with Python.
