Job summary

Blu Omega is seeking an AWS/ETL Engineer to support a VA initiative focused on evaluating, building, and deploying an end-to-end communication workflow for high-volume outbound communications across Salesforce, S-Docs, AWS, and VA Notify. This role supports multiple intakes within the VA LGY program.

Responsibilities include evaluating architecture for scalability and security, designing AWS integrations with Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/DLQ, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch, and building Salesforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or data engineering.
• Experience with data engineering, systems integration, ETL, or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/DLQ, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and document-generation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the communication architecture for scalability, reliability, security, auditability, and observability.
• Design and implement AWS integration components using Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/DLQ, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Develop processing, transformation, routing, error handling, and orchestration for secure delivery through VA Notify.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support production handoff.
