Job summary

Grand Ground Enterprise, LLC is hiring an AWS / ETL Engineer to build end-to-end outbound email workflows via Salesforce, S-Docs, AWS and VA Notify. You will assess architecture for scalability and ownership, then implement production-ready components across Salesforce and AWS with strong documentation.

The role requires hands-on AWS integration, Salesforce patterns, and clear architectural docs for technical and business stakeholders, plus eligibility for a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data engineering, systems integration, ETL and cloud infra.
• Hands-on AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Salesforce integration patterns and document-generation tools like S-Docs.
• VA Notify or similar status APIs for delivery reporting.
• SQL and scripting language (Python, Apex).
• Full test lifecycle and CI/CD deployment across multiple environments.
• Experience on federal contracts, VA/FedRAMP/NIST compliance familiarity.
• Ability to produce architectural docs and communicate findings.
• Public Trust clearance eligibility; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine data models, integration components, error handling, and orchestration across Salesforce, AWS, and VA Notify.
• Develop S-Docs template automation, email request creation, outbound/inbound integration callouts, and dashboards/reports.
• Implement API Gateway, Lambda, SQS with DLQs, logging/monitoring pipelines, and delivery services.
• Perform unit, integration, end-to-end, and high-volume load testing; ensure CI/CD governance.
• Deploy changes through CI/CD in DEV/QA/UAT/PROD with monitoring and runbooks.
• Prepare technical docs, runbooks, and provide handover/training for admins and support.
