Job summary

Stadium is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to own end-to-end cloud infrastructure, from architecture and automation to deployment and cost optimization. You will work closely with software engineers to define infrastructure standards and deployment practices in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

You will design scalable, secure AWS systems, implement IaC with Terraform, and build robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Proven experience operating and improving high-traffic, high-availability systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and system design.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Proficiency in scripting and at least one programming language.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Architect systems to handle sudden and massive traffic surges.
• Own architectural decisions and outcomes in production environments.
• Ensure fault tolerance, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Automate provisioning, scaling, recovery, and workflows.
• Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with zero-downtime deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering to evolve deployment standards.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for proactive issue detection.
• Lead incident response, RCA, and long-term improvements.
• Own cloud security posture and enforce best practices.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance.
