Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Security to drive enterprise-scale remediation across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will lead security programs and collaborate with engineering, privacy, compliance, and identity teams to strengthen controls and reduce risk.

This remote US-based role emphasizes policy-as-code, automation, and scalable cloud security solutions, with incentive opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Six or more years of cybersecurity experience, including at least four years focused on cloud security.
• Two or more years of experience leading teams or serving as a technical lead in cloud security.
• Demonstrated experience working across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience remediating enterprise-scale cloud security control deficiencies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking security, including private endpoints and hybrid connectivity.
• Knowledge of cloud identity, least-privilege access models, and privileged access management.
• Experience with cloud security automation, policy-enforcement tools, and cloud security monitoring solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or a comparable scripting language.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting metrics to leadership.
• A strong sense of ownership and commitment to meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cloud security remediation across Azure, AWS, and GCP within service levels.
• Drive reduction of public cloud exposure via private endpoints, private links, and secure architectures.
• Develop and maintain policy-as-code frameworks and reusable security templates.
• Oversee remediation lifecycle using security monitoring platforms and risk-based prioritization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud security into development and operations.
