Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks an AWS/Kubernetes Cloud Engineer to support WordPress-based web assets on AWS. Remote role requiring ability to obtain a Public Trust. You will build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security controls for enterprise-grade web assets.

Collaborate with cloud architects, developers, and ISSO to ensure uptime, security, and compliance across environments. Occasional after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT/security or cloud engineering roles with AWS exposure.
• Experience with Kubernetes-based deployments and high-traffic web applications.

Responsibilities

• Support WordPress sites on AWS with Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage production environments to ensure uptime and business continuity.
• Configure and automate deployment pipelines and security controls.
• Collaborate with AWS architects, product owners, and security engineers.
• Provide documentation and operational plans for cloud solutions.
