Job summary

Amtex Enterprises Inc is seeking an AWS Cloud Software Architect for a long-term remote contract. The role requires the ability to occasionally come into the Trenton, NJ office and collaborate with the client’s IT Development team.

You will design scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS services, develop front-end with ReactJS/TypeScript and back-end with Python/Flask, and mentor staff on AI-assisted development practices like Claude Code or AWS Kiro.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive front-end applications using ReactJS with TypeScript.
• Build robust back-end services with Python and SQL Alchemy.
• Implement workflow orchestration using Temporal.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Coordinate with the DevOps group for CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and solutions.
• Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS technologies, including ECS, RDS, ALB, Route 53, and containerization strategies.
• Design applications adhering to functional and technical programming standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate user requirements into design specifications.
