Job summary

Dew Softech, Inc in Trenton, NJ seeks a Cloud Architect with AI experience for a contract role. The candidate will design and optimize AI-ready cloud environments, integrate AI tools, and manage deployment lifecycles while ensuring governance, security and cost efficiency.

The role requires hands-on AWS IAM, cloud governance, and experience with AI services like AWS Bedrock, with strong documentation and collaboration across IT teams.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience creating and managing AWS IAM users, roles, policies, and permission sets.
• Deep understanding of Cloud Governance frameworks.
• Experience with AWS enterprise environments including services tied to governance and IAM such as S3, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, ECR, and Bedrock.
• AI/ML experience with cloud-native services and IAM impacts on model access and security.
• Ability to assess and implement access control models, refine roles, review trust policies, and improve permission sets across technical teams.
• Experience partnering with cloud governance, security, and technical teams to design, review, and enhance identity workflows.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimization of AI-ready cloud environments: including high performance compute, GPU clusters, containers, and distributed storage.
• Integration of AI tools into existing systems with secure connections to models, APIs, vector databases, and data sources.
• Support for model deployment and lifecycle management including deployment, monitoring, versioning, and scaling.
• Governance, security, and compliance: implement guardrails and cloud security policies aligned with standards.
• Cost management and operational efficiency: automate, right-size workloads, and optimize expenses.
• Support for innovation initiatives: pilot new technologies and evaluate vendor solutions without compromising security.
