Job summary

Kaleidoscope Innovation, Inc. is seeking an experienced AWS Architect in Austin, TX to design scalable cloud solutions, support cloud-native apps, and drive engineering best practices. This hands-on technical leader will own initiatives, mentor teams, and leverage AI-assisted tools to boost productivity.

The role requires senior-level expertise in AWS services, IaC, CI/CD, and collaboration across DevOps, QA, and development teams. On-site role with relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or solution architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS solutions.
• Experience developing applications hosted in AWS or other cloud environments.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Amazon Q.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives from concept through implementation.

Location: Austin, TX (onsite)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to support our Quality Center of Excellence (COE). This role will focus on designing scalable AWS cloud solutions, supporting cloud‑native application development, and driving engineering best practices across development teams. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on technical leader who can work independently, take ownership of initiatives, and leverage modern AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
• Experience with microservices, serverless architecture, and cloud modernization.
• Experience implementing engineering standards or supporting a Center of Excellence.
• Knowledge of modern software development best practices and Agile methodologies.
