Advocate Health seeks an AVP for the National Cancer Service Line to serve as the executive nursing leader, guiding strategy and performance across the national footprint. This role leads cross-functional teams, drives clinical quality, and transforms care delivery using data-driven insights.

The position requires a Master’s in nursing, CNS and APRN credentials, and extensive leadership experience in complex healthcare systems. Remote work with travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing is required.
• RN licensure is required.
• Clinical Nurse Specialist certification is required.
• APRN recognition/licensure is required.
• Specialty population certification required or obtained within two years.
• Doctorate in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as executive nursing leader for Advocate Health’s National Cancer Service Line.
• Lead nursing strategy across infusion, navigation, medical oncology, hematology-oncology and related services.
• Guide nursing strategy across the national footprint, not limited to a subspecialty.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute service line priorities and initiatives.
• Develop and oversee clinical quality improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Use business intelligence and data analysis to drive clinical performance.
• Redesign care delivery with nursing leaders to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Implement national standards and best practices across the service line.
