Job summary

Jonus Group is seeking an experienced AVP, National Accounts to lead a portfolio of large commercial accounts within the National Accounts Casualty team. This client-facing leadership role acts as the strategic claims partner for complex claims programs, including Workers' Compensation, Auto Liability, and General Liability.

The ideal candidate brings 10–15 years of casualty claims leadership, excels in building client relationships with insureds, brokers, reinsurers, and TPAs, and can drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• 10–15 years of commercial casualty claims experience with exposure to Workers' Compensation, Auto Liability, General Liability, and related lines.
• Experience managing claims for high deductible and self-insured retention (SIR) programs.
• Strong understanding of TPA oversight and performance management.
• Minimum seven (7) years of leadership experience managing claims professionals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary claims contact and trusted advisor for assigned National Accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insureds, brokers, TPAs, underwriting, risk management, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide technical oversight for Workers' Compensation, Auto Liability, and General Liability claims administered by TPAs.
• Monitor claim handling quality, reserving practices, litigation management, and overall claim performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Claims professionals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Partner with Underwriting, Actuarial, Risk Management, Legal, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
