Job summary

Western Growers Health seeks an Associate Vice President (EDI) to oversee all EDI transactions with clients and trading partners, ensuring timely, accurate data exchanges using ANSI X12 standards. The AVP will manage the EDI interface platform, coordinate with internal teams, and maintain HIPAA-compliant processes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 10 years managing EDI in healthcare.
• Hands-on with EDI platforms such as Pilotfish or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare EDI sets (837, 834, 835).
• HIPAA regulations and data exchange processes must be understood.

Responsibilities

• Oversee configuration, testing, and execution of EDI transactions (837, 834, 835, 270/271).
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure compliant data exchanges.
• Lead EDI interface platform management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Document EDI processes and develop operational workflows.
