Job summary

Proofpoint, a global leader in human‑ and agent‑centric cybersecurity, seeks an Area Vice President, Sales – Advanced Technology to lead the four global specialist teams and accelerate revenue growth across Collaboration Protection.

You will own the go‑to‑market strategy, coach senior leaders, and align with Marketing, Product, and Sales Engineering to drive product adoption and customer success. This role is remote, based near a major metro area.

Qualifications

• Proven Leadership Experience leading field sales teams across large or distributed geographies.
• Matrix selling experience across cross-functional teams and regions.
• Security domain knowledge with a track record in selling security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive Field Engagement by taking a hands-on role in key account strategies and closing high-value deals.
