Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Remote Aircraft Systems Analyst for a prominent aviation services group. The role focuses on evaluating performance and reliability of aircraft systems using flight data and maintenance records, with work fully remote.

The ideal candidate has a relevant engineering or data science degree, 4+ years in aircraft systems analysis, and strong skills in Python, R, and MATLAB, plus excellent communication suited for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, data science, or related field.
At least 4 years of aircraft systems analysis, data analysis, or reliability engineering.
Strong understanding of aircraft systems and operational principles.
Proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB and statistical software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and remote communication skills.
Experience with flight data analysis and maintenance record systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Collect, process, and analyze aircraft systems data from flight data recorders and logs.
Identify patterns and potential failure modes to predict issues.
Develop and maintain models for system performance and reliability.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for insights and improvements.
Prepare reports and visualizations of system performance and trends.
Ensure data integrity and maintain databases and documentation.
