Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a remote AV support specialist to provide post-installation and ongoing operational support for conference room technology. You will work with client stakeholders, onsite teams, and AVI-SPL resources to resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, and maintain a high-quality user experience while aligning with Pacific Time Zone hours.

Responsibilities include remote troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and training end users on AV controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of AV practices and procedures.
• Experience with videoconferencing setup and operation.
• AV control experience with Crestron/Extron/AMX preferred.
• Experience with WebEx or Cisco Meeting Place a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote post-installation and operational support for AV systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and fulfill service requests remotely.
• Interact with client help desks and coordinate with on-site teams.
• Perform routine remote maintenance and test daily functionality of AV rooms.
• Escalate complex break-fix issues to management as needed.
• Assist with events requiring AV infrastructure (webcasts, conferencing, displays).
