Qualifications

• Previous warranty administrator role in a franchised automotive dealership.
• Proficient with dealer management systems (DMS).
• Knowledge of automotive dealership service departments.
• Experience with warranty accounting processes.
• Ability to read technician narratives and apply labor codes.
• Certified or trained in at least one manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Review claims for manufacturer policy and procedure compliance.
• Utilize the CARS application to resolve dealer compliance issues.
• Book claims.
• Close claims.
• Submit claims for payment.
• Reconcile differences in payments.
• Maintain clean warranty receivable schedules to support dealer cash flow.
• Maintain current certifications and knowledge of updated policies and procedures.
• Help dealerships stay compliant with manufacturer policies.
