Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote Automotive Software Developer to design, develop, and implement software for next-generation vehicles. This fully remote role involves embedded systems, in-car infotainment, ADAS, and vehicle connectivity, collaborating with a global team.

You will contribute across the software lifecycle, applying C/C++, Java, Python, RTOS knowledge, CAN/Ethernet, and AUTOSAR standards to deliver reliable automotive software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a significant portion in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Java, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with embedded systems development, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet).
• Familiarity with automotive software standards (AUTOSAR) and development processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy software for automotive embedded systems, focusing on reliability and performance.
• Develop features for infotainment systems, connectivity services, or ADAS functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and system architects, to define software requirements and architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
