Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking a Remote Physical Auction Supervisor for South Carolina. You will coach a team to support remarketing of vehicles, liaise with dealerships, and optimize the disposal process.

You’ll build relationships across locations to ensure smooth operations and accuracy in title coordination, logistics, and auction activities. The role requires leadership experience, a background in customer service or financial services, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Associate / Bachelor's degree in business related discipline required.
• 4+ years in customer service or financial services industry is needed.
• Prior leadership experience is needed.
• Education may be used as a proxy for experience.
• Project management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Strong decision making and demonstrated leadership ability.
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
• Knowledge of used vehicle market and distribution systems.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Extensive experience with and understanding of Ally operations and overall branch operations.
• 1+ years of experience required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the remarketing activities at each auction, remarketing and storage location.
• Create and nurture relationships with dealership and GM divisional contacts.
• Assist in developing methods to minimize the expenses related to the disposal of vehicles.
• Select locations for remarketing activities and manage the relationship between those locations and the various Ally offices.
