Job summary
Momentive's Electronic Materials division seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to advance automotive materials solutions with OEMs, Tier1s, and electronics customers. You will translate technical needs into business opportunities, deliver demonstrations, and support qualification activities across global accounts.
Based in the United States, this remote-friendly role requires excellent communication, travel up to 50%, and a track record in technical sales or application engineering within automotive
Qualifications
- 5+ years of tech sales, application engineering, or BD in specialty materials or automotive.
- Experience with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or automotive participants.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and valid passport.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new opportunities for Momentive's materials in automotive applications.
- Promote materials via technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Support qualification programs with OEMs and suppliers.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, ADE, and R&D teams to communicate customer needs.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
