Job summary

MSX International is seeking an automotive technical engineer to handle complex diagnostic repair cases from home in the UK. You will analyze root causes, apply structured thinking and design durable solutions, sometimes tackling highly technical or unusual problems.

You will collaborate with colleagues, access cutting‑edge tools, and coach retailer staff, building strong relationships with dealers and customers while delivering high-quality diagnostics and service.

Qualifications

• Must be trained and certified to Master Technician status or equivalent.
• possess electrical diagnosis skills and experience.
• high voltage/EV experience is desirable.
• investigate, report on, and diagnose complex vehicle systems, either hands on or remotely.
• thrive in a fast-paced environment and can multitask to meet deadlines.
• possess a can-do attitude and drive for results.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to customer satisfaction by answering support requests and delivering high-quality diagnostic and repair service.
• Follow the repair process and monitor success, analyze gaps and advise on improvements.
• Review existing processes to increase quality and report dealer performance on escalated cases.
• Communicate with retailer staff, help and coach them, identify root causes of technical deviations, document issues for central teams.
• Build relationships with retailers and customers to continually improve function effectiveness.
