Job summary

MSX International is seeking automotive repair experts to troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle issues. The role involves local travel to dealerships, supporting their technicians, documenting technical updates, and researching difficult cases to ensure solutions are delivered on the first attempt.

The position offers a hybrid work model with 3 days of field work and 2 days remote, a full-time schedule with benefits, and a monthly car allowance to support travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 to 4 years automotive experience required; current ASE certification is preferred but previously certified individuals will be considered.
• Dealership experience is preferred.
• Must be able to travel locally to dealerships.
• Ability to analyze and document vehicle case updates using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and solving technical escalations.
• Providing online and in-dealership technical assistance.
• Leading discussions and acting as a subject matter expert.
• Managing recall requirements and ensuring RSU completion with follow-up to reduce buybacks.
• Interacting with the team as the quality feedback liaison.
• Providing dealership consultations on repair order documentation and service agreements.
• Ensuring improvement of the customer experience and increasing fixed first visit cases.
• Analyzing repair shop processes and offering proactive business planning focused on customer experience.
